The raw materials come from the Menghai production area in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. The ancient tea gardens are almost wild. The tea trees are tall and dense and can only be picked manually. With towering peaks and overlapping ridges, abundant clouds and rainfall, and a superior climate, the water from the Lancang River and the mountains of Fengqing nourish the tea trees, allowing them to grow freely. The tea is rich in quality, and local farmers hand-pick one bud and one leaf, resulting in a tea that is highly aromatic and rich in flavor.
